Today I posted 2 more donations to Asthma UK through the JustGiving site but for some reason it didn't save the comments that I'd written or who they'd come from. So this is to record thanks to those that had given the money during 2009.

The first amount was for £52.50 which had been collected at various venues using Asthma collection tins, which just goes to show that the coppers all add up.

The second amount was for £88.00 raised by Twickenham Sea Cadets - TS Saumarez during their 24-hour Sailing Regatta. Many thanks for all the support provided by the Officers, helpers & Cadets not only at this event but throughout the 2+ years leading up to this race.

This brings the total raised to date to £6,745.07, which is a tremendous start towards the target amount & hope that once I'm actually significantly underway that this will escalate dramatically. Many of you have been very generous in your individual contributions but don't let this put off those that wish to donate a pound or two as they'll all mount up. So please, please spread the word & encourage everyone you know to visit the site, to see how things are progressing & to show their support by making a small donation (of course large ones are equally welcome ).
