Arrived today in La Gomera after a delayed flight meant I had to overnight in Los Cristantos thanks to the Spanish Air Control. Hardship, having to re-aclimatise to 24 deg.C heat, sorry UK. Been busy starting to remove Tom's personal effects & working out what food to keep & which to offload. Tomorrow I'll re-rig the rudder & then take her out for a spin to run the water-maker up. Then I'll finish offloading the food & re-trim her.
I'm staying on board 'chez DiDi' & trying out some of the spare food to see what it's like ...... mmmm just like having baby food/mush again, not that I can remember that far back.
We've a meeting tomorrow to discuss the next likely start date, probably the 3rd or 4th, so wait & see. After that the boat has got to be re-scrutinized, as they all have, so quite a busy day ahead all in all.
